Eli "Lucky" Thompson (16 Juni 1924 – 30 Juli 2005)^[1] adalah seorang penyanyi tenor jazz dan saksofon soprano asal Amerika yang memainkan elemen gabungan swing dan bebop.^[2] Sementara John Coltrane biasanya menerima pujian terbanyak karena membawa saksofon sopran dari keusangan di awal 1960-an, Thompson (bersama dengan Steve Lacy) memeluk instrumen lebih awal dari Coltrane.^[3][4]
